North Texas District Export Council - General Meeting - August 18, 2016

The next North Texas District Export Council General Meeting will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the offices of Golden, Peiser & Peiser - Address: 16800 Dallas Pkwy, #240, Dallas, TX 75248. Phone:(972) 818-5300.

The meeting will begin with a light breakfast and networking at 7:30 AM with the meeting commencing at 8:00 AM and ending by 9:30 AM.

Cybersecurity and Economic Espionage in the Global Marketplace

The North Texas District Export Council co-hosted the “Cybersecurity and Economic Espionage in the Global Marketplace” seminar at Park Central Westin hotel On May 11th.  This full day event attracted more than 50 attendees across industries.

North Texas DEC at the US-China Leadership Summit

The North Texas District Export Council participated in the annual US-China Leadership Summit held April 15, 2016 in Addison, TX - the LOGISTICS and SUPPLY CHAIN Panel. Over 200 Delegates from China and Texas participated.

A new U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis report ranks Texas as the top exporting state in the nation for the 14th consecutive year.  The Lone Star state had more than $251 billion in goods exported in 2015.
 
Gov. Greg Abbott issued a statement following the release of export figures for the entire nation, saying the Texas statistics are another testament to the state’s strengthening economy.
 

North Texas DEC Launches Education and Training Partnership Program

The North Texas District Export Council (NTDEC) is pleased to announce that it has developed the Education and Training Partnership Program with area Chambers of Commerce.  All of the Chambers and the NTDEC offer various educational and training programs to meet the needs of their target audience.  The Education and Training Partnership Program provides an avenue for synergy between each of the participant organizations.  Together the participants of the program can provide additional value to the communities that we serve.
