Betsy Cameron continues to promote and support international business, education and relationship opportunities for San Antonio. She recently retired from the City South Management Authority supporting the efforts of developing San Antonio’s southern sector. Betsy spent twelve years with the City of San Antonio International Affairs Department participating in San Antonio's international business development. Responsibilities included managing the Casa San Antonio program – San Antonio’s three foreign trade offices in Mexico; developing and implementing the San Antonio Export Leaders Program - a leadership and training program designed to assist San Antonio companies to expand internationally; collaborating with the San Antonio representative in Japan; business matchmaking; coordinating incoming and outgoing trade missions, and other international business initiatives. Betsy, born and raised in Panama, attended Newton College in Boston, Massachusetts, received her B.S. degree from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, and holds a Master's degree in Management from the University of Oklahoma.
