Mr. Doenges heads Sweetwater’s marketing efforts, as well as manages all the company’s government relations, including regulatory endeavors. Mr. Doenges was formerly Chief Strategy and Development Officer for Protec Fuels, President of CleanFUEL Distribution, Vice President of Business Development for CleanFUEL USA, and Executive Director of Global Marketing for Wagner & Brown, Ltd., an independent oil and gas firm, focused on their alternative fuel efforts. Mr. Doenges also worked in the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the White House, and coordinated the Federal Agencies within the U.S. Government involved in energy issues in order to assist American companies to export alternative fuel technologies. Mr. Doenges is a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce District Export Council, the Texas Bioproducts Industry Advisory Council and the Florida and Alabama Governor’s E85 taskforce. He has also been used as an industry resource for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and other federal agencies for policy analysis and white papers. Mr. Doenges earned a B.B.A. in International Business from the University of Texas at Austin, and a law degree and M.B.A. from Texas Tech University.
