The Center has won multiple accolades under his leadership with special recognition from U.S. Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency as the number one center in the nation for performance outcomes for two years in a row. His past professional experience includes working as Vice President of lending for 6 years in which he serviced minority and mid-market businesses by facilitating their access to capital, also helped foreign companies receive financing to acquire US products as well as developed an international mortgage program to lend money to American nationals to buy properties in select places in Mexico. Mr. Hubbard is a former SBDC Director in New Mexico and Business Development Specialist for the SW Texas Border Region SBDC in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Hubbard worked as General Manager for Instituto Tecnologico y De Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico for several years prior to coming to the USA. He was in charge of operations and sales of a multi-million dollar operation which employed 60+ individuals. Mr. Hubbard also worked as a mechanical engineer for two years for a manufacturing company in Mexico.
