Randy Tucker's professional experience includes development of fire safety master plans, exiting analysis, equivalency studies, smoke control systems design and testing, evaluation of fire resistance of structural assemblies, detection/alarm and suppression systems design, and negotiations with public officials. His project experience covers a broad range of commercial, industrial, institutional, and transportation facilities worldwide. He has teaching experience at the university level where he has conducted courses in risk management, smoke control system design, fire modeling, structural fire safety, fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems design, and building code application. Mr. Tucker has served as an expert witness for litigation dealing with building and fire code compliance, smoke control, and fire detection, alarm, and extinguishing systems design. He has served on several National Fire Protection Association technical committees, the International Fire Code Development Committee, and numerous building and fire code review committees.
